 INTRAVENOUS INFUSION 

1.To support the hand of infant.......is needed

2.During giving iv fluid,squeeze drip chamber and allow it to fill at least.......

Ans.One -third to half way

3.Tourniquet should be apply.....inch above the venipuncture site to obstruct Venous blood flow and distend the vein

Ans.5-6 inch 

4.During giving iv fluid,larger amount of air bobules should remove from tube because it cause......

Ans.Air embolus

5.To claen the entry site of venipuncture use a motion to move from......to....

Ans.Centre to outwards

6.During iv cannulation enter the catheter in to skin by...... degree of angle

Ans.15 to 30 degree

7.After succesful venipuncture,examine the drip of solution and tissue around the entry site for sign of...........

Ans.Sign of infiltration

8. During IV cannulation,avoid vigorous friction in older adult at the insertion site and using too much alcohol because both can traumatize fragile skin and veins 

9........ insertion site should not to be the first choice for children

Ans.Hand because nerve endings are more very close to the surface of the skin and it's more painful
