Fluid Resuscitation for burn patient
Consensus formula:
Ringer lactate (RL) or other balanced saline solution: 2-4mL x kg body weight x % total body surface area burned.
Half of the fluid need to be given in 8 hours and remaining
half over next 16 hours.

Colloids: 1 mLx kg body weight x % total body surface area
burned.
Electrolyte (saline): 1 mL x kg body weight x % total body
surface area burned.
